Bridgeport Catholic Academy

The responsibilities of a school lunch monitor include monitoring students and their behavior during meals in the lunchroom. Students will have assigned seating in the lunchroom, with 4 students to a table. They will be seated with their class and will unmask to eat. (There will be at least one teacher available should any outstanding issues arise.)
As a monitor, we ask that you circulate to ensure students are exhibiting proper behaviors throughout their time in the church hall. You help open packages and milk cartons, and aid in cleaning up spills. You ensure each meal service flows smoothly while communicating with students, staff and other volunteers professionally and positively. You assist with cafeteria clean-up and recycling, encourage good table manners and cleanliness, and line students up to be dismissed at the scheduled time.
