Each year Coal Creek Meals on Wheels sends a bag of non-perishable food to each client so they have something on hand in case they are unable to deliver meals due to inclement weather.

Bag & Deliver - 1:30 - 3:00 pm
Just Bag - 1:30 - 2:30 pm
Just Deliver - 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Here are descriptions of each of the volunteer opportunities -

Blizzard Bag Bagging & Delivery Volunteers
Volunteers receive a list of clients that they are "building" bags for with their dietary restrictions listed to help with the process. Volunteers walk through the space to fill the bag with pre-set items that meet the clients needs (this will be very clear). Once the bags are filled, they are then delivered to client homes. Routes are available in Lafayette, Louisville, Erie & Superior and include 5-12 households.

Once the bags are filled, they are set aside by route for a driver to deliver.

Pre-filled bags are delivered to client homes. Routes are available in Lafayette, Louisville, Erie & Superior and include 5-12 households.
