Our Keeping Dreams Alive Awards are designed to not only encourage children in the social services system to identify and follow their dreams, but to inspire them to make their dreams a reality! On April 7th, we will give a memorable and magical night to special children who have been nominated by our Affiliate Youth Agencies. The children who are awarded are between 6-14 years old and are nominated by local caseworkers that see the need for this critical support.
The children were asked to share with their caseworker what their dream is for the future as well as what their dream is for today. On this magical evening, we gather as a community to grant their 'today' dream and to help them believe in the dreams for their future. It's a magical, emotional and inspirational evening filled with joy and excitement.
