Hosting Effective Virtual Meetings

Audience: Chapter Officers and Committee or Facet Leaders
Open to all interested members
This session will prepare chapter leaders to plan and facilitate organized, secure, and engaging virtual committee meetings and training sessions.
Participants will learn how to:
- Prepare a meeting agenda and virtual run of show
- Schedule a Zoom meeting and distribute the official link
- Use host and co-host controls
- Manage participants, chat, screen sharing, and meeting security
- Support member participation without losing control of the agenda
- Handle common disruptions and technology problems
- Store meeting materials and follow-up information in the appropriate chapter location
Please note that national technology guidance authorizes electronic committee meetings. Regular monthly chapter meetings remain in person unless otherwise directed by the National President.
