Derby Dash Ambassador Volunteers Needed

We are seeking chapter members to serve as Derby Race Ambassadors during Day at the Races. Ambassadors will be stationed throughout the ballroom to help guests participate in the Derby Dash experience by answering questions, assisting with QR code access, guiding credit purchases and race entry submissions, and helping maintain a fun, smooth, and organized flow throughout the event.

This role is guest-facing and ideal for members who are comfortable engaging with attendees, providing light tech support, and helping create an energetic and welcoming experience. Ambassadors will also help direct participants to the appropriate race entry forms and provide general support as Championship bidding opens later in the program.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

Greeting and assisting guests with Derby Dash participation

Helping guests scan QR codes and access race entry forms

Supporting guests with submitting bids and understanding the process

Answering basic questions about race flow and participation

Assisting with bracelet/bead distribution if needed

Helping maintain excitement and smooth communication throughout the ballroom
