WAVES Project

2nd Annual WAVES Project Veteran Golf Classic will be held at the Legends Golf Club at Temeku Hills. 41687 Temeku Drive in Temecula. This is our main fundraising event for the year to bring in the funds we need to support programs during the year. Registration starts at 7am but we have a lot to do to get ready before then so we will be starting about 5:30am. Golfers tee off at 8:30am and return by about 2pm. During that time we will need help setting up the raffle items in the banquet room about noon. We also like to have a couple of people to be "floaters" meaning you are available to help wherever we need you. If you can only help for a couple of hours then need to leave - we will be making the sign up sheet in 2 hour increments so you can choose the hours you can help. We also need clean up crew to make sure we leave the facility in good shape - it won't be much, just picking up any papers, napkins, cups, cans or bottles left around. We will be packing up our equipment and pop-up tent and loading out anything left over.
If you are a veteran who has participated in the program, you can mingle and talk with golfers about WAVES. If you can't sign up to help but want to stop by and say hello, please feel free to do so! Bring your own lunch or anything you want to eat, unfortunately we cannot provide lunch for volunteers because of the expense - there is a snack bar where you can purchase food if you would like.
