WAVES Project

The Riverside County Sheriff's Annual Picnic is a once a year event where the employees and their families spend the day having fun and relaxing. The WAVES Project will have a booth at the event and our job will be to talk to people about what we do and sell t-shirts. They expect more than 6000 people to attend so this will be a great opportunity to get the word out about our organization. Many veterans serve in law enforcement so we should get a great response! It will be held at the Domenigoni Dam from 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday October 7th. We are asking for volunteers to work a 3 hour shift that day - set up will already be done but the late shift will need to tear down and pack up.
The address is 2345 Searl Parkway in Hemet. ***** Domenigoni Parkway will be closed to traffic between Winchester Road and Warren Road on Saturday - The suggested detour is to take Winchester Road (Hwy 79) north of Domenigoni to Simpson Road then turn right to Warren Road. Turn right at Warren and continue to rejoin Domenigoni. There may be detour signs posted but please be prepared to take an alternate route! *****
