Black Arts Festival: Revisited

The FAM is holding an upcoming Black Arts Festival in conjunction with the exhibit Seen: Viewing the Work of African American Artists of Fredericksburg.This event is titled "Black Arts Festival: Revisited" as a historic nod to the original Black Arts Festival of Fredericksburg, which was established by Clarence Todd to support the Harambee 360 degrees performance group in the mid 1970’s.
Black artists and performers will be present in Market Square from 10am-5pm, selling their wares, giving live performances, and connecting with the community.
Pitch tents, set up tables, and assist with general preparation of Market Square.

Oversee the FAM's membership tent. Answer visitor questions about memberships, and sell to interested guests.
Serve beer and wine at the FAM bar tent. Must be 21+ to volunteer for this position.
