Climate Cares Highway Cleanups and Stewardship Day- Mission Bay Beach Highway 5N & S - Fourth Sunday of the Month
Join ASCENDtials for our monthly Highway Cleanup, held on the third and fourth weekends of each month, where volunteers help maintain the beauty and safety of our adopted stretch of highway. This stewardship activity supports ASCENDtials’ mission to cultivate environmental responsibility, community care, and cultural awareness through hands‑on service.
Volunteers remove litter, sort recyclables, track debris types, and learn about the environmental impact of roadside waste. This cleanup contributes to regional conservation efforts and supports our ongoing commitment to environmental justice.

-Collect litter along the designated highway segment and ensure safe, efficient cleanup.
- Prepare materials, distribute safety gear, and restore the site after cleanup.
