Fall Work Day

RBR will hold its Semi-Annual Work Day on November 9th. We’ll begin our work day at 8:00 am in the Clubhouse with a breakfast spread including fresh coffee. Our Director of Grounds will have several projects, big and small, for us to work on. We’ll stop around 1:00 pm to have lunch in the picnic area compliments of RBR. It’s a good idea to bring gloves and some tools if you can. Remember to label anything you bring to ensure that you’ll get it back!
PLEASE NOTE: The event runs from 8 am to 1 pm, but no one is expected to work the entire 5 hours (unless you choose to). There are many jobs, big and small, so please come and pitch in when and where you can--it all makes a difference!

You'll be assigned to whatever task we need the most help with.
Around stalls, arenas, etc... Mustard, Nettles and foxtails all need to be pulled up by the root.
Provide the breakfast spread starting at 8am
Move jump equipment from current location (by Judge's stand on west side of main arena) to east side of arena adjacent to round pen and water truck/tractor parking spot. Organize jumps and throw out broken equipment.
Painting the historic barn. Please bring gloves and painting tools such as brushes & rollers.
Tidy barn aisles by removing old fly bags, leveling dips in the aisles, aligning mats, etc.
Hang rake racks and organize rakes, brooms, forks and muck buckets.
Sweep, shop vac and organize boarder tack rooms. Move all trunks to check for rot underneath.
Help with any repairs that we may need around the facility - will need use of tools (light in garage, feed delivery trunk repair, new whiteboard install, etc.
Straighten any pavers in front of tack rooms and under feed delivery trunk
Help us clean and prepare clubhouse so that mice don't get their hands on food.
