RBR Spring Dressage Schooling Show

Rose Bowl Riders Spring Dressage Schooling Show will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 with Judge Karina Lyons (USDF S). Gates open at 7:00 AM and the show will begin at 8:00 AM. Volunteering is a fun way to participate and be part of the show. If you can't make it (and even if you can), sponsorships are warmly welcomed as well. RBR's schooling events provide an affordable showing opportunity and educational experience for the greater equestrian community in Southern California. Thank you for your continued support!!
Clubhouse cleaning (inside) Clean restrooms, vacuum floor, etc.
Clubhouse cleaning (outside)
Sweep front & back patios, clean outdoor sink area
Clean picnic tables with soap & water
Clean grandstands with soap & water
Buy snack stand food to be sold at Clubhouse snack stand
Stock fridge & food stand area with snacks & drinks
Count & arrange 26 sets of ribbons (1st thru 8th place) on a hanger
Set up coffee & supplies (creamer, sugar, etc.)
Purchase 2 dozen donuts by 7:45am

Judge's Scribe - sits next to Judge and writes down scores and comments during each ride. Must be able to write clearly & quickly!

Registration - Process pre-entry forms, receive payment, hand out rider #'s, calculate test scores/placements
Score each test by adding valid scores and subtracting penalties and rank riders at the end of each test based on their scores
Food Stand Sales - Sell food/beverages in clubhouse snack stand. Wash and dry dishes if needed

Show Clean-up - Empty trash cans, clear decor from arena, put away show supplies, pack unused ribbons, put away chairs/tables, etc, etc!
Poop Patrol - Pick up manure around property as needed and place in red manure bin
