Branch Classic Volunteers

Branch Classic is our single largest day of fundraising as we welcome bands from around the state to compete at FBHS. We ask each family to volunteer time working a shift during the day as well as donating to our equipment or hospitality lists (see separate sign ups for donated goods).
This is our Parent and Friends signup. Students will be assigned separately.
Please report to volunteer check-in tent outside band room 30 minutes before shift.
Food donations should be delivered to cafeteria before volunteer check-in.
Please plan to be dropped off or carpool with other volunteers as parking is limited. Parking is available at Davis Middle School-you may walk or take the shuttle to the high school.
For volunteers spending the entire day on campus, there will be limited availability to park at the high school. Cars will not be able to move in/out of this lot between the hours of 10:00 AM-10:30PM.
Check in volunteers, guide them to assigned stations/supervisors, deliver snacks and lunch throughout the day.
Assist with parking buses in designated bus zones.
Assist in parking trucks and trailers in designated equipment holding area
Registered Nurse, EMT, Doctor. Only properly trained medical professional.
Ensure no cars enter the complex from the baseball complex/compactor entrance.
All concessions shifts will be assigned to fill cashiers, runners, food prep, grill, fryer, drink outpost,food outpost, etc.
Sell tickets and tshirts from gate.
Set up hospitality room for visiting band staff, serve food
Assist spectators in designated spectator parking areas.
Ensure adequate drinking water for all bands during skull sessions.
Prepare and package box lunches for band to eat in the cafeteria. Deliver to cafeteria at specified meal times. Clean up cafeteria at the end of all meals.
Assist in directing spectators and visiting bands to restrooms, first aid, etc and answering questions.
Assist in marking off seating for bands and spectators in the stadium. Coordinate with student band guides to get bands to correct sections. Facilitate maximum seating and comfort for all visitors.
Assist in any volunteer needs at the stadium pavilion throughout the day. Assist with bathroom breaks, tech troubleshooting, directing traffic flow, filling band director's requests, etc.
Fill in on any listed shift to ensure volunteers get bathroom breaks, water, meals etc. Will be directed by radio into needed positions.
Sell shout outs and spirit pops from pop up tent. Run shout outs to press box.
Ensure no cars enter the complex from the baseball complex/compactor entrance.
Sell T shirts and spirit wear from pop up tent.
Assist in directing spectators and visiting bands to restrooms, first aid, etc and answering questions.
Assist in marking off seating for bands and spectators in the stadium. Coordinate with student band guides to get bands to correct sections. Facilitate maximum seating and comfort for all visitors.
Sell baked goods for Davis Middle at a pop up tent.
Keep supplies in sateliite bathrooms full via golf cart, empty stadium trash throughout event, final stadium clean.
Assist spectators in designated spectator parking areas.
Monitor backdoor from stadium to school and band room door.

Ensure adequate drinking water for all bands during competition warm up.
Help with entering and tabulation of band scores, plaque preparation and awards ceremony.
All concessions shifts will be assigned to fill cashiers, runners, food prep, grill, fryer, drink outpost,food outpost, etc.
Coordinate with Press Box with getting bands off/on field. (Field House entrance)
Coordinate with Stadium Band Host to get equipment and props on the field (Back Stadium Gate)
