Seminole Education, Restoration Project: Cassel Creek Invasive Removal Event
Saturday, October 29 2016
Be a part of this awesome ongoing project to restore the Kids House stormwater pond! Join us to help remove invasive torpedo grass, which competes with the native shoreline plants. These efforts will improve water quality, and this habitat will be used by counselors at Kids House as a therapeutic wildlife area for the youth. Please wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet (be prepared to walk in shallow water), and old clothes that can get wet/dirty.
Location: Kewannee Park at 1505 Kewannee Trail, Casselberry, FL 32730.
Carpooling will be organized for this event
