National Voter Registration Day is an organization and a movement, designed to highlight the constant need for each of us recognize our personal connection to our democracy. National Voter Registration Day is held yearly, each September.
In honor of National Voter Registration Day, I urge you to join the voter registration movement by participating in one or more of listed activities, between today September 19, 2022, and Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
All voter registration activities can be completed from the comfort of your home. If you complete at least five of the listed activities, you will earn one hour of service which will be added to Track it Forward for you once your activities are verified.
Listed Activities
1. Verify your voter registration status.
2. Call or text a relative/friend who recently turned 18 and remind them to register to vote.
3. Text 10 friends to remind them to confirm their voter registration record is active.
4. Encourage a relative/friend who has recently moved, to complete a change of address on their voter registration record.
5. Call or visit a senior and help them verify their voter registration status and help them develop an early voting plan.
