BEATING CANCER BEAUTIFULLY Is a program designed to help survivors affected by the side-effects of cancer treatment, feel like themselves again. Often times, treatment such as chemotherapy and radiation cause skin discoloration and hair loss, leaving some women and men to feel a sense of loss and disconnect with themselves.
The events will focus on providing specialized attention to Breast Cancer survivors by teaching them critical make-up skills that will help them mask the impact of Chemotherapy and Radiation. The event will consist of an application process for survivors to apply and get approved to attend the make-up event. Attendees will be presented with make-up kits that has the key fundamentals needed for the class as well as make up and tools needed after the class to maintain. The virtual class will be facilitated by professional MUA Christelsie Johnson, CEO of My T.R.U.E. Beauty.
The 2020 event seeks to bless 30-40 participants.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Sorors please DO NOT sign up for this event if you are not on the planning committee. This event is a CLOSEd Service project to allow those applicants undergoing cancer treatment to have privacy to experience a wonderful day of pampering. Video and clips will be provided to the chapter post event so that Sorors can experience what the attendees experienced.
