1. Keep membership abreast of activities that influence public policy and social justice;
2. To expand Alpha Kappa Alpha's advocacy footprint;
3. To mobilize the membership to act on public policy and social justice issues;
4. To communicate Alpha Kappa Alpha's position on national and international issues in conjunction with the Communication and Public Relations Committee;
5. To establish effective communication between the Supreme Basileus, Executive Director, Regional Directors/Regional Representatives, State Coordinators, Chapter Basilei, Chapter Connection Chairmen, and membership on Connection-related-topics;............
