Sorors I wanted to share an ask from Soror Melanie Key Bales our Cluster Coordinator. We would love TEO to shine in our participation on this event! A sign-up has been created in TIF, Sorors are asked to log their hours after they walk and include a note on how many hours were walked. See the short steps below to participate!

Alpha Kappa Alpha's commitment to Women's health and wellness focuses on continuing to raise community awareness of critical health issues impacting African-American women. One critical health issue impacting women of color in the United States is the lack of adequate vital services that mitigate health risks of mothers and babies that are born sick or too soon. Many women also unfortunately cannot afford vital services that are available, impeding their access to healthcare when needed the most. Our support of the March of Dimes is imperative during this challenging time. Donating money and participating in the March for Babies virtual walk on May 15th is a great opportunity for the members of Cluster V, family and friends to "step up" to get the word out about the critical needs of mothers and babies.

2. Make a donation, and encourage your family members and friends to do the same!
3. Walk and get your steps in on May 15th while practicing social distancing.
