Read Across America - "Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers"

Where: Parklane Elementary School (2809 Blount Street East Point, GA 30344)
When: 8:30am-10:30am
What: Read Across America-"Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers"
Why: A new focus on books that tell children of color or of different gender identities that they belong in the world and the world belongs to them.
How: Each teacher will have a guest reader(s) come to their class and read a book with them.
Volunteers will choose a book they like and will enjoy reading aloud to students (Classes include grades from Pre-K through 5th grade)
