Urban Health Initiative Poverty Simulation Study

The Urban Health Initiative at Emory University will be hosting a poverty simulation study at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The purpose of the simulation is to promote poverty awareness, increase understanding and inspire local change. Volunteers are needed to serve as community service representatives for the simulation. Community services can range from schools, homeless shelter, bank, etc. The official start time for the simulation is 1:00 pm; however, there will be a required orientation at 11:00 am. During orientation, a thorough overview of the simulation, review roles and the challenges and provide lunch.
