Think HBCU/HBCU for Life Panel Discussion
Thursday, October 25 2018
Think HBCU/HBCU for Life is Target 1 and it is designed to promote and market HBCUs as well as provide financial support. HBCUs have built an invaluable legacy. They continue to fill an important role in providing access to quality higher education for African Americans and other individuals.
The panel discussion will address one of the goals in the HBCU playbook "enlighten the community regarding HBCUs as institutions of excellence with historical and current significance". It will also, expose and showcase the historic and current relevance and viability of HBCUs to students and their parents. Please volunteer to support this annual event.
We are also asking Sorors to bring giveaways and represent your HBCU in the lobby. Students will stop by and you will have an opportunity to promote your alma mater. Last year we had one student apply and was accepted in NC A&T. Another student left with a better understanding and applied to an HBCU as well. Let's keep up the momentum!!!
