Please join us for the May 2026 YLI / AKAdettes Committee Meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
As we move into the final phase of our program year, this meeting will focus on completing Module 3 – Using the Power of Purpose to Drive Success.
Since we have successfully completed our Environmental Project (Planting for the Planet), our focus will now shift to finalizing the remaining components:
Module 3 Focus Areas
• Community Service Project (Being the Change We Want to See)
• Final Presentation (Sharing Their Experience with the World)
During this meeting, we will:
• Identify and finalize our community service project
• Assign roles and responsibilities to support execution
• Begin planning for the final presentation (format, content, and youth leadership roles)
• Discuss initial ideas for our End-of-Year (EOY) offsite celebration
Please come prepared with:
• Community service project ideas
• Suggestions for how the girls can lead and present their YLI experience
• Creative ideas for our EOY celebration
Your continued support and collaboration are appreciated as we guide our AKAdettes through the final steps of this journey and celebrate their growth and accomplishments.
