Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Join us for our March YLI/AKAdettes off-site session as we begin Module 3: Planting for the Planet (Environmental Project).

During this hands-on learning experience, the young ladies will visit Nede Cascade Urban Farm where they will participate in a guided tour, workshop, service/volunteer opportunity, and planting activity. This experience will help the girls learn about environmental stewardship, sustainability, and the importance of community gardens while actively contributing to the environment.

Through this activity, AKAdettes will gain a deeper understanding of how caring for our planet impacts communities and how small actionsb like planting and growing food can make a meaningful difference.

Dress Code: Outdoor / Work Appropriate

• Long sleeves

• Long pants (shorts not recommended)

• Closed-toe shoes or boots (gym shoes are acceptable)

• Hat, sunscreen, and gloves recommended
