YLI/AKAdettes November Session: Taking Action in Politics & Civic Engagement
Saturday, November 22 2025
Join us for the November YLI/AKAdettes session as we continue exploring Module 1: Foundations of Leadership & Success, this month focused on Taking Action in Politics & Social Issues (Civic & Social Awareness). The young ladies will learn about the power of their voice, how voting impacts communities, and why civic engagement matters at every age.
We are excited to welcome Soror Tekyo Adams as our guest speaker. She will guide the girls through the importance of voting, share a brief history of civic participation, and help them understand how informed leadership begins now. The session will also include a fun and interactive mock voting & ballot activity to bring these concepts to life.
