32nd Annual Sandestin Wine Festival Friday

This event raised $32,960 for Fisher House in 2017. Volunteers perform the following: ID Checking "Located at the front of the line behind ticket sales--required to attend a safe vending class beforehand. Requires Standing"/ Scanning "Locate in the middle of the line, electronically scanning barcode on all tickets. Requires Standing."/ Wristbands Located at the end of the line; distributing tickets. Requires Standing./ Wine glasses/taster's guides "Underneath the tent, overseeing and restocking. Distribute glasses, taster's guides and pencils. Requires Standing."/ Pourers Pour wine for patrons. Must be certified. Requires Standing. Guest interaction. / Bucket Brigade Handles distribution of water jugs and buckets to each of the tables on Friday and Saturday. Also responsible for emptying these as they fill during the day, then collecting and rinsing them at the end of the day. Will be standing and walking during entire shift./ Table Set up Hanging tent signs, banners, moving wineglasses, pencils, etc. This is a very low key day. Minimal guest interaction, mainly working with me and our operations team with setup. It is definitely physical but not necessarily strenuous. Bring gloves if possible./ Food Tent Helpers Helping serve food for patrons and monitoring supplies. Keeping lines moving. Requires Standing. Guest interaction. / Pourers Pour wine for patrons. Must be certified. Requires Standing. Guest interaction.
