Crossroads Trail Run & Walk

Door County’s first trail run welcomes runners & walkers or all ages and abilities to chose a 2k, 5k, or 10k distance at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on June 21, 2024 at 8:00 am, with chip-timing to allow for a staggered start by route. Learn more about the event at www.crossroadsrun.com

If you would like to volunteer, please sign up INDIVIDUALLY below so we can have an accurate count. Also be certain to include your email address and mobile phone number so we can contact you if necessary.
Assist participants in completing registration information, collect money, distribute t- shirts and deliver new registration forms to the timing table.
Assist with set up. Stationed outside of the Nature Center the greeters will welcome runners and individuals who are coming to watch the event, answer general questions and direct individuals to resources, registration areas, awards table etc.
Assist customers who would like to make a donation for past year t-shirts and collect money.
Cheering on runners and directing them along the designated race route. Monitor for any runners who may need medical attention or support. Utah Street location requires two to help with traffic control.
Help us take video and photos of the event.
Encourage runners and hand out water to at designated water stations. Pick up discarded cups. Monitor for any runners who may need medical attention or support.
Distribute free trees to participants and prizes to race winners.
Set up and clean up refreshment area, serve and replenish food, water, Gatorade, and supplies. Assist with clean up.
One needed for Ida Bay and one for the main campus to check trails near race end to make sure everyone has successfully completed the run/ walk.
