The Second Annual Black and Gold Night of Hope

We’re hosting the Second Annual Black & Gold Night of Hope in partnership with Wish Upon a Teen, which is a fall formal for teens (13+) bravely facing life-limiting medical conditions on October 4 at our very own BMO Stadium. The evening will begin with outfit selection, hair and makeup, and lead into an unforgettable evening of dancing, celebration, and joy.
- Organize clothing racks, hang dresses and suits, organize accessories
- Prepare glam stations (hair, makeup, styling)
- Decorate and stage the space (balloons, signage, mirrors, lighting, florals etc.)
- Organize check-in tables and welcome areas
- Ensure all stations are ready before guests arrive
- Ensure volunteers are stationed at each location
- Welcome and check in teens and caregivers,
- Guide guests to each stations (hair, makeup, attire, etc.).
- Serve as “floaters” to assist with wardrobe selection and fittings
- Keep spaces tidy and help restock/organize as needed
- Provide friendly, encouraging support to ensure every guest feels special
- Support vendors with pack-up
-Escort teens down to field club at 6:00pm
- Encourage dancing and celebration
- Assist with photo & caricature stations
- Support with gift bag distribution
- Support guests with accessibility or comfort needs
-Escort guests to their vehicles, if needed
- Begin light teardown and clean-up at the close of the event
