Help Set up for event, Coordinate with Event organizer to assist in ensuring volunteer communication and support is managed in a reasonable timeframe, help run coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and food to volunteers when needed, cover stations to allow for bathroom breaks or warnm up breaks as needed, communicate using a walkie talkie with event organizer, direct attendees as needed, and other tasks. This position will need to meet with the Event organizer at Safety City at least a day before to tour the site and become oriented on the layout and plans. If you have a valid first aid it would be an asset to this role. You will get your steps in for the day in this role. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. A mix of indoor and outdoor locations. Please dress for the weather conditions in layers that can be easily added or removed based on the situation.
