WHAT A GREAT KICK OFF!!!
The Vintner Dinner was sold out 90+ and the first screening at Raw Space Gallery was standing room only! Susan Horn single handedly left the dinner to load 25 chairs from Orchid Island Brewery and bring to the gallery so no one was turned away or left standing! That's dedication! Captain Mary Brown kept people happy and in the festival mood during the rush of 100+ in a venue set for 75 despite a couple of volunteers who didn't show up. Thank goodness volunteers in the line agreed to help out during the crush. This is the community we built !
The film makers and wine makers are beyond excited to be here and indulge in this experience and JOIN OUR COMMUNITY! Lets show them VERO BEACH HOSPITALITY as we know it.
There are a number of shifts still open for the weekend. Please ignore the time frames if they don't suit your schedule. Sign up anyways and come when you can. I know I'm going to be greeting and pouring at every screening I attend (this is Marie).
