**NATIVE PLANTING IS CANCELLED FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 30**
Hi Everyone,
Wow!! The Restoration is complete --- 1 day ahead of schedule! We have finished planting all of the trees and shrubs. Therefore, tomorrow's native planting is cancelled. We appreciate everyone signing up to volunteer for tomorrow, but we do not have anymore plants to plant! (Pics to be posted soon!!) Thank you to everyone for being a part of Friends of the Black Run Preserve and offering to volunteer some time with us. We could not achieve these goals without AMAZING people like you!
*** OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR TOMORROW (SUNDAY, APRIL 30) ***
We do need volunteers that can do some heavy work --- we'll be installing bollards and cables tomorrow starting at 8:30am. (This part of the project is NOT kid-friendly. **** PREVIOUS INFORMATION ABOUT DAY #3 ****
We need at least 30 volunteers per day to come out April 28, 29, and 30 to help plant 1,550 native plants! The NJCF provided us with a $5,000 grant for this project.
DATE: APRIL 30, 2017
TIME: 8:30am to 4:00pm
WHERE TO MEET: Meet us at 8:30 at Borton’s Road (dirt road section of Borton’s Road)
PARKING: Park options are at Link's Golf Club, Borton's Road Parking area or the White Trail Parking area

FOOD: Lunch and drinks to be provided. Water will be available throughout the day.
BE PREPARED FOR THAT DAY: Use bug spray, sun protection, dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and your own shovel if you have one. We will provide water and snacks.
