The Job Foundation

New this month! We will be offering ongoing monthly Mentor/Volunteer trainings...we are calling them Mentoring Mondays! The 2nd Monday of each month (same day & time each month) get together with staff, fellow mentors, and volunteers to discuss topics of mentoring and volunteering with youth! It will be held at The Job Foundation office, 2712 Orchard Dr. Ste B2 Cedar Falls from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Our first month, May, will be a training from the Riverview Center. Raechel Breyer will come and speak about Nurturing Healthy Sexual Development, it is an introduction to child abuse training. This will cover what to look for, what to do as a person the child might confide in, as well as what to avoid as a mentor/volunteer when working with youth. We are excited to have this opportunity and thank the Riverview Center for coming to us!
