PAC meeting with Elementary and High School Financial Lessons--Thursday, February 21st

Thursday, February 21 2019

Our Quarterly Parent Advisory Committee & Child Coaching Meeting with elementary and high school lessons has been rescheduled for February 21st and will be held at CARVER MIDDLE SCHOOL from 5-7 p.m. We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping teach financial lessons, prepare meals, help drive student families, even Spanish translators!

This meeting will be for the whole family & volunteers, as well as, children of volunteers who want to take part in elementary financial lessons. Financial and leadership lessons will be for students K-2 & 3-5.

Opportunities to help would be with:
* driving families
* check in desk area
* spanish translating for 2 families while at the event
* child supervision (ages 0-5)
* financial lesson teachers
* being an elementary helper/buddy for students going to learning stations
* kitchen help: prepping, serving, and cleaning up

We are excited to expand and plant seeds of financial literacy, please help us make this a great event! Let us know if you can join us and help our attend! And as always, thanks for all you do to help our students and our program!

P.S. You are also welcome to attend the Parent Meeting which will include Jennifer presenting findings from a recent conference she attended on ADHD. This would count towards your minimum of 2 required child coaching trainings.
