April 12th Annual Affirmation Event

Hello fantastic volunteers! We have a really fun and heart-warming event coming up: Affirmation Event on Thursday, April 12th. We would love to see you all there! It will be held at the Waterloo Center for Arts (225 Commercial St. in Waterloo). Doors open at 5pm. Dinner will be provided by J's Homestyle Cooking. Following the dinner, Jennifer will lead a program that focuses on affirming one another and showing appreciation. We have been collecting mentor match photos and affirmations to display during this event (if you are a mentor and have not already sent in a photo, please do so as soon as you can!) We can't wait to get together and enjoy a positive and uplifting program!
Following the program starting at 7pm, we are invited to stay and enjoy the dress rehearsal showing of "Winnie the Pooh" performed by the Black Hawk Children's Theatre. Free - will donations will be accepted for the play.
