Keep Flower Mound Beautiful

We have been seeing lots of trash on 2499 towards Grapevine & Lakeside Pkwy so we have decided to clean up that area for our 3rd Saturday workday - 9:30 to 11:30.

We will meet at Home Depot Parking lot in the Northwest corner of the lot, by the back entrance to 7-Eleven and will head out from there.
We want to get quite a ways down 2499 so may send volunteers in their cars from there to farther down 2499 (by Racetrack) to work back towards Home Depot.

March 7th:
Also we have a possible Lend A Hand project to help an 80 year old resident clean up her property. I have the Baptist organization set to do some major tree trimming and will need help dragging the tree debris to the front and put into a dumpster. It will possibly happen on March 7th but the head of the group needs to get back to me with a confirmation on the date (he needs to make sure he can gather up enough to help him)

March 21st - Our plan for March 21st is to work on the median at Eads & 1171 to pull weeds and add some native plants, at Spring Lake Park butterfly garden area to add more native plants, and the Timbercreek Butterfly garden

April 4th:
We are organizing the big KFMB Spring Trash Off & Festival April 4th event and I will create an event to cover our volunteer needs for it soon. We will need volunteers from 6:30 am through 2:00 pm, various shifts will be available to cover set up, take down, traffic control, etc...
