KFMB SPRING TRASH OFF & SPRING FESTIVAL

April 7, 2018- 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM

The Trash event starts with registration @ 8:00, in the FMHS parking lot. We hand out supplies to volunteers and send them to various areas in Flower Mound (parks, trails, creeks, roadways) to clean up trash/recycles. Volunteers then bring back their findings and we provide lunch, the environmental fair, and door prize. Registration is available online.

Spring Festival - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The spring festival will include the Native Plant Society Trinity Forks Chapter yearly sale that provides a choice of many different native plant species. There will also be lots of other booths, including ones that will provide environmental education and kids activities - such as a climbing wall, an inflatable obstacle course, and Home Depot kids workshop.

All ages are welcome and it is a dog friendly event!

You will also be able to take advantage of these recycling options:

Shred-It will be providing free document shredding to residents of Flower Mound.
Best Buy will be collecting electronic waste - keeping it out of the landfill!
Christian Community Actions will be collecting clothing and housewares and food for their pantry.
The fair is open to everyone, whether or not you participate in the Trash Event!
