Keep Flower Mound Beautiful

The Trash event starts with registration @ 8:30, in the Flower Mound Home Depot parking lot. We hand out supplies to volunteers and send them to various areas in Flower Mound (parks, trails, creeks, roadways) to clean up trash/recycles. Volunteers then bring back their findings and we provide lunch, the environmental - health fair, give aways (t-shirts to first 300 to register), door prizes, prize for most trash collected, prize for most recycles collected.

The fair begins at 10:00, includes kids activities and booths promoting positive environmental/healthy practices (indoor and outdoor) - water conservation, composting, gardening, native plant usage, healthy eating and exercise.

In addition to our fair:

Shred-It will be providing document shredding to Flower Mound Residents.

Best Buy will be collecting small to medium sized electronics for recycling.

CCA will be collecting gently used clothes and housewares.

Native Plant Society Plant Sale: over 90 plant species, over 1,000 plants.

Climbing Wall, Inflatable obstacle course, Home Depot Kid's workshop
