Pathways of Hope Backpack Project

Volunteers are needed to create and provide school backpacks. The school backpacks you make will be distributed to the families living in Pathways of Hope’s shelters and families picking up food at our food distribution center.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Meet with your SLOBs group to shop at the Five Below store in Fullerton. Address is: Five Below, 1134 S Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92832
Volunteers will be using budgeted SLOBs funds to shop for backpacks and school supplies for POH. Backpacks and supplies will be assembled and donated to teens in need. Some ideas of teen school supplies are:
• spiral notebook
• folders
• loose paper
• notebook
• pens
• pencils
• markers
• highlighters
• erasers
• scissors
• glue sticks
• expo markers
• pencil pouch
• pocket hand sanitizer
• small Kleenex packets
Immediately after shopping for backpacks and school supplies, volunteers will help transport them to the Pathways of Hope office: 1231 E. Chapman Ave, Fullerton at St. Andrew's Church inside the middle 2-story building (Moody Hall). The doorbell is under the Pathways of Hope sign at the entrance of Moody Hall.

Location: SLOBs will meet at the Five Below store in Fullerton and end at the Pathways of Hope office. Volunteers must have their own transportation from Five Below to the POH Office. The addresses are in the instructions above.
