Whole Foods to Pathways of Hope

Saturday, May 16 2020

Volunteers will pick up food from Whole Foods in Brea and have a Whole Foods staff member fill out the weight report of food. Volunteers need to park as close as possible to the receiving doc, which is behind the wooden gates. Please park in the parking lot and do not block the wooden gates. The pick up should not require a vehicle larger than a sedan, but you should bring boxes to put the loose dairy products in. They do not let us take the crates with us. If there is too much food for your car please select a good amount of bread and pastries, milk, and eggs first then other items that might fit. Once the food is loaded into the car, drive to the Pathways of Hope location to drop off the food and the completed forms.
First time volunteers have 3 forms to complete: 1) weight report (food finders form filled in by Whole Foods employee), 2) the signed Pathway's drivers form (plus copy of Driver's License and insurance card), and 3) a signed Pathways waiver for all volunteers.

Repeat volunteers only need to bring a copy of the Food Finders for Whole Foods to fill out and drop off at the Pathways HUB.

Pickup time is from 9-10am. Food must arrive at the HUB by 11am and HUB volunteers will need to weigh the food before putting it away.
