Volunteers are needed to work as ushers at Chance Theater in Anaheim. Before the show, volunteers would help setup the audience areas, stuff programs and help facilitate a positive and safe environment for the patrons. Before the show begins and during the intermission, volunteers would work as ushers and pass out programs and help patrons find their seats. During the performance, ushers are invited to watch the show if there are open seats in the theater. Ushers will assist during the intermission. After the show ends, volunteers would help pick up cups and program flyers left in the theater. Instructions will be given to the volunteers at the start of the shift, so please arrive on time.

Total hours earned per shift: If you arrive on time, each volunteer will earn the actual number of your work hours (rounded to the nearest half hour).

Student dress code: Navy SLOBs T-shirt, long pants (no ripped jeans) and closed toe shoes.

How to sign up:
1) Go to Chance Theater's volunteer website below to sign up for an available spot. Please sign up for the right hours as there may be 2 or more shows scheduled on the same day.

2. Return to this page to sign up for the event in Track It Forward.

3. Both steps 1 and 2 must be completed in the exact sequence to secure your volunteer signup. (Simply signing up in Track It Forward only is not enough.)

4. If there's no more volunteer spots available on Chance Theater's signup website for the date and shift that you want, then your signup can NOT be completed. Please look for another performance date to sign up.

5. Cancellation policy: If you must cancel your signup, please do so at both the Chance Theater's signup website and the www.TrackItForward.com website. (Do not use the Track It Forward mobile app for cancellation.) Cancellations are accepted ONLY when it's done 3 or MORE DAYS before the event date. For this event, no cancellation is allowed within 3 days before the event date unless you can find a replacement to work your shift.

6. Late cancellation: Within 3 days before the event date, if you realize that you can't work the hours you signed up for, please find a replacement to work your shift. Your replacement does not have to be a SLOBs member or mentor, but he/she must be either a high school student or an adult. NOTE: Non-SLOB volunteers need to sign the attached waiver and text a photo of the signed waiver to (949) 413-5801.

Hour log: (a) SLOBS Volunteers MUST use Track It Forward mobile app to log your hours at the event site. The GPS feature of the app will confirm your presence at the event site.
