Fullerton Service League of Boys

Project: Food distribution to about 200 student households each week during the summer.

Volunteer requirements: (a) Please bring a signed volunteer waiver and checklist. (Please download and sign the blank waiver and checklist attached.) (b) Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. (c) One of the SLOBs volunteers must be an adult age 18+ who will supervise younger volunteers. If no adult is signed up, the event will be cancelled. (d) Be able to lift 20 lb.

Student attire: SLOB T-shirt if you have one. Closed toe shoes. Bring water, hat, sunglasses if desired. Volunteers may work outside and inside of the food pantry, so please dress accordingly.

Parking: You will access the college from Valley View and take the road to the right once you are on campus. If you need to park on campus, please stop by the Campus Security closest to Parking Lot #1 to get a Parking Pass and then proceed to park in parking Lot #5.

Parking Permit: Please visit the Campus Security office near parking lot #1 to obtain a parking permit on your first day. Once you have your parking permit drive to parking lot #5 and go to the SLL building. All volunteers will need to obtain a parking permit. Please follow these steps:

- Before your first shift please visit the Campus Security Office in the BUS building near the entrance to the college. (map attached).
- Ask Campus Security Personnel for a Parking Permit for the summer so that you can volunteer at the Cypress College Food Pantry
- Bring your photo ID
- Bring your auto license plate number
- If they need more information, please share that Dani Morgan, the Cypress College Basic Needs Coordinator, is the on campus contact for questions and her phone is (714) 484-7309.
- If they provide you with a paper placard, please display that on your dash or hang from your rear view mirror every time you volunteer.
- Do not back into the parking spots or you will receive a ticket.

To cancel a signup up to the day of the event: Cancellations within 3 days before the event is only permitted if there's an emergency; also, please find a replacement volunteer if you can’t work at the event. Please notify the SLOBs coordinator if you are cancelling within 3 days before the event or on the day of the event. In all cases of cancellation, please do not use the mobile app; instead, visit www.TrackItForward.com, log in with your username and password, go the event that you signed up for, go to the shift you signed up for, tap on the "+" sign to find your name, then tap the "X" sign next to your name. Once your name is removed from the list, a cancellation email will be sent to the event organizer, and your cancellation is complete.
