Fullerton Service League of Boys

Calling all SLOBs members and mentors! You are invited to our club meeting on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 4 pm. This is the 6th and last meeting for the 2024-2025 SLOBs year; this meeting ONLY counts towards the 2024-2025 SLOBs year. The first meeting for 2025-2026 SLOBs year is August 24, 2025. For more information on meeting dates, please refer to your Member Handbook.

New and Returning members: Please start or renew your membership by scanning both QR codes in the document attached "Member QR Codes". Or, please visit https://www.fullertonslobs.com/membership-info to fill out the application and pay online.

Log hour: Meeting time does not count as volunteering time. When you attend the meeting, please log 0.01 hour.

Used SLOBs T-shirt recycling: If you have any SLOBs T-shirts that won't be needed anymore, please donate them at this club meeting.

Student attire: SLOBs T-shirt (unless you are a new or prospective member).

Annual meeting requirement for student members: Attend at least 4 club meetings per SLOBs year.
Annual hour requirement for student members: Volunteer at least 10 hours per SLOBs year (between 5/1 of this year and 4/30 of next year).

Annual meeting requirements for adult mentors: Attend at least 2 meetings per SLOBs year.
Annual hour requirement for adult mentors: Volunteer at least 5 hours per SLOBs year (between 5/1 of this year and 4/30 of next year).

All students and mentors are requested to download the Track It Forward (TIF) app before the club meeting. Download instructions are provided below.

To download the app to your mobile device:
1. Search for “TrackItForward” in App Store or Google Play. The app might be called “Volunteer Time Tracking” instead. The developer is named OurVolts, LLC. The logo is in green color, in a shape similar to a tree. (See the image attached.)
2. After downloading, search for an organization named “Fullerton Service League of Boys”.
3. Log in using your login credentials for Track It Forward.
4. Opt in for text messaging and input your cell phone number. You will receive event reminders and communication via text. (This is very helpful to those who don’t read emails daily.)
5. Sign up for the SLOBs events on TIF mobile app, if you haven’t already. If you have signed up, look for your signup for this meeting in the Event section under the main menu.

How to log hours using the TIF app:
When you are physically present at the event site to work your shift, you may use your TIF app to log volunteer hours. You can type in the actual number of hours worked (rounded to the nearest half hour) or use the "prefill from an event" feature to fill the hour worked information. At the bottom of the Hour Log form, choose “Add Verifications”, then choose “Verifications: GPS” to provide your location. (Note: Digital Hour Log must be done at the meeting site. If the GPS pin is showing a location other than the event site, your service hours logged may be reduced unless we can corroborate your attendance at the event.)
