Chena Hot Springs Classic

The Chena Hot Springs Bike Classic is a bike ride starting in Fairbanks (Trax) and ending at Chena Hot Springs. It has different distance options with start locations along Chena Hot Springs Road (Trax, Pleasant Valley store, Granit Tours, and 48-mile pond). NSCF-FXC provides the volunteers to staff the various stations in exchange for funds donated to our organization. It is one of the few fundraisers in which both parents and athletes have an opportunity to volunteer together. It also allows flexibility for parents with children riding the shorter distances. Parents can get their kids to the start and still have time to help our FXC program! Volunteers also get lunch sandwiches provided by the organizers so we never go hungry!

Trax Outdoor Center: Help set up tables and register participants.

Registration and Aid Station
Pleasant Valley (Mile 23): help register participants and man the aid station.

Aid Station
Granite Tors (mile 39.5): pick up supplies (and instructions) at Pleasant Valley and set up feed station. Starts the racers at 11:30. Staffed by FXC Comp athletes.

48 Mile Pond: Pick up supplies (and instructions) at Pleasant Valley and set up feed station. Starts the racers at noon. Staffed by FXC athletes and at least one parent.
