Visit 1:1 with a vet
Play them music, sing, dance, play a game, go for a walk, read a book, craft, do a word search, teach them how to use a computer, talk, do their nails, write a letter, bake a holiday treat, etc.
There is so much you can do to brighten up a veteran's life. Go out and visit! Pop in and see how they are doing! Make them feel special and needed.
