Parks for Pollinators at Farrel McWhirter Park

Saturday, September 16 2023

The City of Redmond is hosting an event at Farrel McWhirter Park to raise public awareness of the current pollinator crisis by encouraging local action and positioning parks as a leader in advancing pollinator health, native habitat, and sustainability practices.

Volunteers are needed to help with general event support; arts and crafts activities; and help identifying pollinator species using a smart phone app. No specialized knowledge of pollinators is needed!

Please fill out, print, and sign the attached Volunteer Waiver to bring with you when you check in for your shift. This form must be completed prior to the start of any volunteer shifts and volunteers under 18 years old must have their parent or guardian sign the form. Volunteers under 14 years old must have a parent or guardian accompany them during the entire volunteer shift.
