Dear INSAN Volunteers & Well Wishers,

Please join us in our upcoming event

Event: Serving Dinner to Homeless & Needy Guests

Date: Sunday, April 17th, 2016

Time: 3:00 - 5:30 PM

Location: New Harvest Community Church/Helping Hands Caring Hearts Ministries

Address: 480 W Monterey Ave, Pomona, CA 91769 (intersection of Monterey & Rebecca; between White & Garey)

Parking: Inside the Church complex, please use Rebecca St. entrance

Volunteers: Please confirm if you are coming. We only need limited additional volunteer for this event. When you arrive at site please ask for INSAN rep or table.

Clothing: Comfortable casual clothing and shoes due to nature of the tasks, dress according to weather (lighter clothing), be conservative rather than provocative; full jeans/cargo pants, shirts, T-shirts (NO short shorts, NO back open, NO big & wide neck).

Lunch: Please have your lunch before you come otherwise it will be a long gap since your morning breakfast. Also have plenty of liquid so you do not feel dehydrated in warm weather.

Tasks: Set Up, Serving, Clean Up

Etiquette: Caring, Humble, Polite, and Respectable to the Guests (people being served), and the host (the church and the soup kitchen)

Guest: Expected about 110 - 145 people

Wish List: If possible you can bring some bottles of juice, punch, soda, water, milk, ice bags, coffee, deserts, and fruits (any quantity, any combination), as well as old news magazines and newspapers, used clothes, grocery bags, food /yogurt containers

Parents Pick Up: Parents, please arrive about 5:15, a little earlier, so your kids do not have to wait at the end. Please drop and pick up from inside the parking not from the street. If we are in session kindly wait for few minutes.
