Distribute Welcome Yard Signs to homes of incoming freshmen families - Pick up signs on FRIDAY, May 3

Friday, May 03 2019

Parent volunteers are needed to deliver yard signs to welcome our incoming class of 2023. We would like to have yard signs placed in the yards (or entries) of our incoming families this weekend. Please contact Carrie Birchler with any questions at 909-333-8723.

-Signs and address lists can be picked up from Carrie Birchler in the 300 building (facing the senior parking lot) anytime Friday, May 3 until approximately 3:30 p.m.

- Signs can be placed anytime Friday, Saturday or Sunday of this weekend.

- Distribution lists will be grouped by zip code and every effort will be made to give you a list of families in or near your community. We appreciate your flexibility in delivering signs to families as needed to ensure that all incoming students receive a Welcome sign from Damien.

- As you deliver your signs, please mark the names off your list. If you encounter incorrect information (wrong address, gated community) please WRITE the details and/or corrections on your sheet and send a copy of your sheet back to Carrie Birchler at birchler@damien-hs.edu or text a photo of your sheet to 909-333-8723 so we can make the corrections in our system.

- You are welcome to wear your Damien gear, add balloons to the sign (if you wish) and even ring the doorbell to introduce yourselves to our newest Spartan families! If you prefer to quietly place the sign and go, that is ok too!

- We ask that current parents be involved in distributing the signs. Students may, of course, join their parents in the visits, but please do not send your son's out to do this task without you.

Thank you for being an important part of welcoming new families to our Damien community!
