Black All Year Long Committee Meeting
Thursday, October 08 2026
The name is pretty self-explanatory: we're pushing boundaries and making it clear, we celebrate being Black all year round. Through various Afrocentric events, we emphasize that there is no time limit to celebrating and honouring our identities and heritage. Previously known as the TMAPS' Black Futures/History Committee, this new title was coined in 2024 by incredible TMAPS members Shanice Harris and Kimora Lee! Black All Year Long! is about continuously celebrating ourselves and each other as Black people -- and not confining these celebrations solely within the shortest month of the year. This committee is open to all members of the Black diaspora - Come thru!
