Wellness Popup: Neurodivergent-Friendly Study Lounge, Moss Art & Yoga w/ Swapna!

Exam season is here... To help you decompress and take the edge off, TMAPS is hosting a Wellness Popup event! From Yoga, to Moss Art Making, to a Neurodivergent-Friendly Study Lounge! There will be a variety of comforting wellness activities for you to partake in! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO BRING THIS EVENT TO LIFE :-) SIGN UP BELOW!


Date: Wednesday, April 8th Location: Student Campus Center (55 Gould St.) in SCC-201, the Margaret Lawrence room. 2nd Floor. Wheelchair accessible. Masks required.


Event breakdown:

1:30 - 2PM: Postering & Wayfinding

2 - 3PM: Set Up

3 - 5PM: Neurodivergent-friendly low-sensory study lounge with moss art making. Free food & fidget toys will be provided! Bring your laptop and study materials and body double with classmates.

5 - 7PM: We are hosting two 1 hour long Yoga sessions  facilitated by Swapna Mathew! Spots limited, please select which session you'd like to attend here (5-6PM or 6-7PM): https://forms.gle/5VdnwCycvEHCXe1j7

7 - 7:30PM: Clean Up

Set Up Study Lounge

Set Up event space (lamps, TMAPS welcome table, tables & chairs, fidget toys, moss art, food table)

3:00pm - 4:00pm

Help with miscellaneous tasks

Set Up Yoga Space

Put away tables, moss art. Clear central space. Set up 10 yoga mats. Leave a few chairs for yoga participants who might need them.
