As part of the museum’s America 250 celebration, guests can enjoy two fun, space-themed activity sessions in the STEM Center and take a guided gallery tour led by a trained museum staff member. All activities and tours are included with daily admission, so come celebrate America’s rich history of innovation and space exploration while having fun!
ACTIVITIES
Solar Viewing
Learn how to safely view the Sun! Weather permitting, participants can step outside and use a telescope to observe the Sun and spot sunspots.
11:00 AM & 2:00 PM
Origami in Space
Discover how the James Webb Telescope was designed using origami principles, then create your own origami craft during the class.
12:00 PM & 3:00 PM
Guided Tours
Enjoy a 45-minute guided tour of the museum at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM.
