Niagara Region Sexual Assault Centre

Every year we are inspired by the dedication and compassion of our volunteers. The Niagara Region Sexual Assault Centre, CARSA Inc. would not be able to provide the services it does without the support and commitment of these incredible volunteers.

Volunteering at the Niagara Region Sexual Assault Centre may mean providing support to anyone who has experienced any form of sexual assault or abuse, having occurred in childhood or as an adult. Volunteers participate with staff responding to crisis calls and in-office emergency walk-ins, sharing front desk reception duties, providing advocacy and accompaniment through the court system, co-facilitating groups and workshops, and assisting with public awareness events. There are all sorts of volunteer opportunities with the Niagara Region Sexual Assault Centre; each demonstrates a commitment to support, empower, and advocate for individuals who have experienced sexual assault and sexual abuse; and to be a part of the efforts toward the prevention and elimination of sexual violence.
