2nd Grade Field Trip to Seymour Marine Discovery Center

Our next 2nd grade field trip is coming up on Wednesday, December 16. We will be heading to the Seymour Marine Discovery Center in Santa Cruz from 8:30 AM - 3 PM. We will need parent drivers/chaperones.
Part of the day from 10:50-11:50 will include an hour long hands-on experience in the Shark Lab. Unfortunately we must limit the number of chaperones for this portion to four parents. However everyone will have time afterward to tour the exhibits in the Marine Center and eat lunch. Luckily there are interesting things for the extra drivers to see during the shark lab since there is a nice outdoor walking trail along the cliffs.
We also wanted to mention that there are no places to buy coffee or food on the premises. So please pack a lunch and beverage for yourself as well as your child! Thanks so much!
